『YOSHIKIMONO』は、呉服屋の長男として生まれ育ったYOSHIKIが、日本の伝統文化である着物を世界中に紹介したいという強い信念のもと、約10年前に自ら立ち上げた着物ブランド。2015年10月「メルセデス・ベンツファッション・ウィーク東京」のグランドフィナーレにて本格的にコレクションデビューし、翌年2016年10月「アマゾン・ファッション・ウィーク東京」ではオープニングを飾った。
守るべき伝統と取り入れるべき新しいものの両方を意識し、テーマに掲げるのは『伝統と革新の融合』。日本国内で低迷を続ける着物業界に革新的なデザインを持ち込み、業界全体の活性化に大きく貢献し評価されている。
YOSHIKIが表現する、“静”と“動”の相反する世界観には、今世界中から多くの注目が集まっている。

YOSHIKIMONO started 10 years ago is a Japanese kimono brand which is created by YOSHIKI who was born as the first son of kimono fabric shop and has a strong belief to introduce Japanese Kimono to the whole world.
Debuted in Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week TOKYO in 2015 as a grand finale brand and also headlined in Amazon Fashion Week TOKYO 2016.
YOSHIKIMONO is always conscious of tradition to protect and new things to introduce, therefore the brand theme is “fusion of tradition and innovation”.
Now, YOSHIKI’s view of the world “stillness and motion” has been gaining more and more attention from all over the world.

DESIGNER PROFILE

作詞家、作曲家、「X JAPAN」リーダーとしてピアノ、ドラムを担当。これまでに天皇陛下御即位十年記念式典の奉祝曲、愛知万博公式イメージソング、ハリウッド映画のテーマソング、そして世界最高峰の米ゴールデングローブ賞の公式テーマソングを作曲するなどグローバルに活動。 YOSHIKI率いるX JAPANは、これまでアルバム・シングルを合わせ3000万枚を超える売上げを誇り、55,000人収容の東京ドームを18回にわたりソールドアウトにした記録を持つ伝説のバンド。2014年に米マディソン・スクエア・ガーデン公演、2017年に英ウェンブリー・アリーナ公演を成功させ、米カーネギーホールでの単独公演とあわせ、アジア人として初めて音楽の3大殿堂を制覇するなど、世界にその名を轟かせている。そして現在は、来年公開予定のヴィン・ディーゼル主演ハリウッド超大作映画「xXx 4」の音楽総指揮を務める傍ら、並行して複数の映画音楽の制作に取り組んでいる。 Songwriter, Bandleader of “X JAPAN” playing piano and drums.
